This morning I woke up because I heard someone rang the door bell. I jumped right away from my bed and scurry off to the door haha. It was a postman who rang the bell. And……… he delivered me a package from Daphne. Lookie, lookie at what she gave me 🙂 *jumps around* Later on, I found a small package in my mailbox, it’s my swapped items. Finally it arrived! Unfortunately, the Physicians Formula blush was completely shattered 😥 The girl already wrapped it in a bubble wrap, but I guess shit happens eh? So I decided to crush it all and transfer it to my sample jar I got from Signature Minerals. Wee~~ I just had to make use of it 😀
Price: USD1 (at E.L.F. website)
What it claims: Our unique fragrance free formula allows you to quickly and easily remove your make up while leaving your face fresh and clean
Size: One plastic jar contains 18 pads
OK, so this is how the eye makeup remover thin pad looks like:
So I put it on an experiment 😉 I wore eyeshadow, eyeliner and washable mascara. What I did was dabbing it on my closed eye, leave it for approximately 30 seconds and just removed it without any rubbing.
When I first took it out, I could smell this kind of not-so-soft fragrance from the pad. I’m fine with it as it was not too strong for my liking. During application, eventhough my eye was closed, some of the eye makeup remover got into my eye :(. It was quite irritating but just for a little while, after some time it was gone.
As you can see, the eye makeup remover pad did remove almost all of my eye makeup. If you looked carefully, there is still a little bit of my eyeliner residue. But it’s okay, I could always get it off when I clean the whole face again ^_^
It feels clean and fresh yet I don’t really like this sticky feeling after my eye makeup removal. If you used this to remove your eye makeup and you want to re-do it again, I suggest you to wipe your lid with some gentle toner.. 🙂
Plus: Cheap, removes eye makeup thoroughly
Minus: sticky, quite irritant
