I’ve been wanting to review this mascara but sadly I was too busy 😛 So here you go!
Well I decided to give this little baby a try because I had such a pleasant experience with Rimmel’s other mascara, Glam Eyes. I was hooked on Rimmel Glam Eyes mascara, so will this one give me the same experience?
The mascara comes in a metallic blue tube with a slim wand. Take a look at the wand 😉 It has dense bristles packed along the wand 😀 Honestly, it just looks like a typical volumizing mascara wand, yet the bristles on this mascara wand is short.. Will it be able to perform what it claims? Hm……
I decided to give this one a try and whether it works well or not, why don’t you try to guess it first? 😀 Here’s my naked lashes for your reference o_0
Looks scary eh from this angle? lol. I didn’t curl my lashes prior to mascara application. And here’s some pictures on how it looks like after a coat of Rimmel Volume Flash mascara..Pardon the lashes.. I had a bad lashes day okay! (Does such thing exist?)
I was too lazy to apply the second coat as I had to rush for my class 😛
I like how the mascara glides on very smoothly on my lashes and provide me with slightly more volume 🙂 Moreover, I have this habit applying the mascara several times at one go instead of waiting for it to dry first only apply the second coat 😀 Based on this fact, when I applied my mascara, it didn’t clump at all :D. The small and slim wand enables me to reach for my baby and lower lashes 😀
It is easily removed using a regular eye make up remover, but do not ever try ELF eye makeup remover pads. It won’t work -_-; I was trying the pads on waterproof mascara, and it failed pretty badly. I guess for waterproof mascara like this, I’d just stick to my L’Oreal eye makeup remover..
Warning: for contact lens and specs user… This mascara tends to flake a little, so it’s best for you to avoid this. I didn’t really have any problem though 😛
Plus: Volumizing, affordable, no clumping
Minus: require eye makeup remover for removal, flaking a little
