Let’s take a break from mascaras.. lol Let me present you…
Price: USD30 at BeneFit’s website
What it claims: You rebel, our bestselling defiantly different tinted moisturizer with SPF 15, now comes in a brand new “lite” shade specifically formulated for fair-skinned rebels. You rebel lite casts just a hint of tint. And just like her big, defiant sis, you rebel lite is loaded up with soothing aloe, antioxidant Vitamin E & Vitamin A for soft, supple skin. So glow wild!
I know it’s pricey but this is the first tinted moisturizer I ever used hehe. I tend to use this one whenever I am late for class as it is very moisturizing and hell yeah, it has SPF too (cut the time for moisturizer and sunblock application)! ^_^ There are two versions of this tinted moisturizer, the You Rebel and You Rebel Lite. For those with darker skin, you can try the original one with red tube whilst for lighter skin, grab the yellow tube 😉
This is the actual color when I squirted a little bit out from the tube. It looks a bit yellowish and I was at first thinking it might look slightly too dark for my skin and hence I was hesitant to try it out during school days. I don’t want to look like a yellow clown okay.. Haha.
The texture of You Rebel Lite is quite creamy but it’s not thick. It’s actually less thick compared to my usual cream moisturizer. However, when I applied it, it is indeed very moisturizing! Me likey, yay~! It also has a sweet scent, just like any other BeneFit products (my Dandelion and 10 do have similar scent). It doesn’t bother me though :).
I mentioned about the color just now right? It looks scarily yellow :P, but it only looks like so before blending. After applying it, it blends to your natural skin color ^_^. It provides no coverage (to me at least), but my friend whom I gave the sample, claims that You Rebel Lite does give her a very sheer coverage. She has slightly darker skin color compared to mine.
It may feel a little sticky to some people, but after a while the sticky feeling will be gone. You Rebel Lite tends to give me a dewy finish (which I don’t really like) so I usually apply a thin layer of powder on top of it. I will not recommend those with oily face to wear You Rebel Lite by itself as it doesn’t have oil absorbing feature.
Mind you, the whole tube can last you forever! You only need tiny drop of it to cover the whole face! I’ve been using mine for 5 months and even I gave quite a numerous amount to my friend as a sample and can you see that? I still have more than 60% of its original content lol. I know it’s a little expensive, but for that kind of amount and its multi-tasking feature, it’s quite worth buying I’d say. Nevertheless, if you don’t feel like splurging $$$ on You Rebel Lite, there is still a lot of alternatives out there ^_^
Plus: has SPF, very moisturizing, blends in nicely
Minus: pricey, gives out dewy finish, doesn’t absorb oil effectively
