I’m not dead yet, halfway though. I haven’t had enough sleep for the last three days due to report deadline and excessive gaming hahahahaha. The latter one is the culprit of my super dark circles :(. I know I haven’t posted anything up lately, and next week will be even more hectic (WHAT THEEEEE). Oh whatever. I’m gonna review another foundation today 😉

The shade I have is 20 watts which is the second lightest shade available from a range of 8 shades. When I tried to match the foundation shade to my skin not so long time ago at Stila counter, the first two lightest shades (10 watts and 20 watts) were my perfect match yet this time around I opted to get the 20 watts one. Why? Because I could only find the 20 watts shade available for swap that time 😛
Here’s how my 20 watts looks like. It has beige or yellow undertone. It looks pretty yellow on the container, and I was hesitant at first. However, upon application I found that it’s not too yellow or anything, it is just nice, blends well with my complexion.
When I tried to pump the foundation out, the foundation looked very watery. It was quite runny and it looks as if it was a mixture of water and foundation, but not too obvious. I tried to shake and mix the foundation, yet the fluidity is still the same, I guess it’s just how it is supposed to be. Nevertheless, it doesn’t disturb the application as it still blends in pretty easily 😀
The foundation itself claims to be an illuminating foundation so I notice it has a bit of shimmer on it in a decent amount so that you’d not look like a walking discoball.
As you can see from the picture above, the coverage is very sheer to light. You can still see the redness on my cheeks *geez*. It feels very light on my skin, as if I was not wearing any foundation ^_^. I guess if you don’t like heavy coverage or don’t have too many problems on your complexion, you can give this foundation a try ;). Likewise, if you prefer medium to full coverage, you wouldn’t even give this baby a “passed” mark!
When I applied the foundation, it felt pretty watery. However, knowing my scaly dry skin, it actually is pretty moisturizing, a big yay! My skin didn’t feel dry the whole day and no patchy area. Also, eventhough it’s an illuminating foundation with shimmer, it gives a semi-matte finish which would not leave you with a shiny face.
Lastly, it does not cause any irritation, for me at least hehe
Plus: moisturizing, feels feathery light, doesn’t cause irritation, excellent packaging
Minus: a little pricey (the normal price), very light coverage
