I was planning to write up a review on Cle de Peau concealer today, but guess what, all of my pictures were deleted from my phone, including those that I took today for Cle de Peau concealer review. Argh!! OK, no worries, I’m gonna re-take the picture again tomorrow morning. I already am in a full garter to go on a date with my bed.
Here’s some random picture which I snapped few days ago. It happens to be the one which keeps me away from doing my assignment 😛
*LOL* Oh come on, who wouldn’t laugh seeing this part? Actually I’ve been reading Rave ever since I was in high school. My brekkie-lunch-dinner buddy totally hooked me up with manga. I stopped halfway though when I had to move here and my hostel connection was a total crap. When I was trying to distract myself to do my assignment, I ended up reading Rave again 😛
Yes, I admit I’m a shonen manga afficiando. Perhaps because the first manga I read was Slam Dunk (and I still love it!). Gotta thank my cousin sisters who sent all their mangas to my house then. They were banned from reading manga by my uncle as they already bought so many and my uncle shipped boxes of manga to my house, o yay! By the way, that was the time when I started losing my perfect eyesight *sigh*. However, my preference is pretty much related to my own personality. I was a tomboy, even until now, so shonen manga attracted me more, whilst all the shojo manga……. I gave them all to an orphanage. 🙂 Hey, mind you, my hometown is so remote that even people from my country think it doesn’t exist and access to story books and manga are very limited. I was more than happy to share my happiness with those orphans 🙂
Decades ago, I was a tomboy girl (albeit very obedient :P) and my skin was dark like hell. Believe me, I am pretty surprised myself I can end up to be quite fair. If I were to take a look again at my pic when I was 14, I think I can pass for a NC44. I’m not exagerrating 😉 I really looked like some kampung girl who plays at padi field everyday. Wait a second, I did grow up in some kampung and play at padi field every single day lol. If you think Malaysia is hot, think about it again. At my hometown, we’re showered with average 39 degree. During some time of the year, it reaches 41 degree. It seriously is a dry and dusty coastal area, yet I love it there. Wanna know why? Let me show you some of the pictures. No photoshop, editing, or whatsoever you call it.
Yes, I get to see this EVERY single day 😉
How could you not fall in love with this kampung? 😀 Anyway, the pictures are taken by my neighbour. He’s the one up there holding his catch, two big ass fishes from his fishing trip. It looks beautiful, huh? It’s blazing hot though during the day which is the reason why I hardly put on makeup whenever I go back to my hometown. It’s useless I tell ya. My effort will just melt into nothing lol
Back to my brekkie-lunch-dinner buddy who introduced me to more shonen mangas 😀 Her name’s Jill. I knew her because we stayed at the same dorm. Those were the days when I couldn’t find any big eaters lol. We are girls yet we can eat as much as guys 😛 I can’t anymore now though.. lol Sometimes when we go to Pizza Hut (hey Pizza Hut in Indonesia is damn nice okie… No offence, but I found it pretty crappy around here 😦 Oh bring back my Pizza Hut!!) we could sit there and ordered foods like mad. Even the waitress thought we’re still waiting for other friends to come 😛 We could demolish two large pan pizzas, garlic bread, chicken wing, spicy tuna fusilli, two bowls of tortilla rice, some desserts and a jug of ice lemon tea xD Now no wonder I was big-sized eh? (Ehem, even until this very moment, but whatever). The funny thing is, after knowing her for two years, we only realized that her house and my dad’s house (not at my hometown, @ my hometown I live at my uncle’s house ever since I was born) are only two blocks away. WTH………… Those were the days when we laughed and laughed to death. I’ll definitely look for her when I go back to my home country this upcoming June 😉
Woots. I’ve been talking random stuffs for quite long. Time for me to sleep. Nite lovelies! See you tomorrow on Cle de Peau review 😉
